Sažetak
The aim of this study was to research the development of attitudes toward soccer and soccer-related knowledge in male and female elementary school pupils. The sample of 182 boys and 181 girls aged 11 - 15 years was given the paper-and-pencil test of soccer-related knowledge and seven-point scale of attitudes toward soccer. Two-factor multivariate analysis of variance was done showing significant effects of gender and age and insignificant effect of interaction of gender and age. Gender differences were manifested in positive mean attitude of boys and neutral attitude of girls. Age differences were manifested in better results of soccer-related knowledge test by age, both in male and female pupils.
