Sažetak
The paper presents a "migrant crisis" and a view of it through a historical and global- political prism. The paper deals with the causes of migration, the Balkans route, the demographic dimension of globalization, cooperative or antagonistic social relations that people enter out of necessity. Special attention is focused on a positive approach towards migrants, the implementation of measures of equality and the fight against discrimination of this population, and improvement of the living conditions of migrants. Caring for migrant employment, housing, health care leads to improving the living conditions of this category of workers in these areas. The EU's role is to promote legitimate migration and to repress irregular migration, to stop and process human smuggling. Regular (legitimate) migrants are primarily migrant workers, followed by political diplomats, students. The most numerous are migrant workers who bring whole families with them. The paper also discusses the model of relocation and the migrant migration model.
