Sažetak
Traffic management system, depending on defined aims and existing limitations, reflects changes of traffic demands and gives particular accommodations which are valorised and usually represent the measure of system operation quality. Since that accommodation takes place in short time intervals, they become unsuitable and vast for any expert analyses in longer time periods. For system operation estimation of longer time intervals (week, month, year) Markov chains are recommended. As today&#8217 ; s technologies provide verified information about traffic processes, which is the basic prerequisite for traffic models defining in management systems, Markov chains also represent useful mathematical tool for global system operation description.
