Sažetak
The term inventory implies various material means which are for a certain period of time excluded from the production process or transport with the aim of being used at a later point in time, as the need might arise. The work analyses an example of the operation method of one system according to the model of rejecting unsatisfied demands, with the task of determining the optimal inventory volume and the ordering levels in order to minimise the annual costs.
