Sažetak
A proposal is explored as to how the laws of physics could be seen as a priori and, yet, physics to remain an empirical science (as it always was and will be). The argument is provided, within the larger Leibnizian picture of the relationship between the various sciences (from logic to physics), that only the most abstract (and therefore general), or fundamenatal, laws could be taken as a priori and, moreover, as synthetic a priori. The argument is re-enforced by an in depth discussion of Wigner's approach to describing the structure of the physical theory.
