Sažetak
Research was concerned with the bluefin tuna from the mid-Adriatic. Correlation between the weight of the fish and accumulation of Pb and Cd to its tissues (muscle tissueses and liver, and gills)was investigated. Rather strong, positive correlation exists between accumulation of Pb to
all tissues and the weight of the fish.Accumulation of Cd to tissues wasn't found as strongly correlated to the weight as Pb.Correlation was evident only in liver and near-head muscle tissue.Levels of Cd in liver and gills were above
UNEP/FAO average, bur those values are not thought to be worrisome as it was expected for them to be found above the average obtained for all tissues. Values of Cd accumulated in muscle tissues were bellow UNEP/FAO average.
