Digitization of industry is in full swing ; with it architecture and construction are changing as well. Digitization of architecture not only saves time and money, and it also provides a lot of opportunities. The digital world is increasingly involved in collections, archives, and libraries. At first, enormous quantities of analogue material were digitized and only recently with the newly created digital material. Does this create new research questions? The fact is that the digital archive material is quite heterogeneous ; other than architectural projects, it includes Web sites, games, art projects, and the like. Another question is how to effectively train the students of architecture to gain the basics to adequately use modern technology in such a turbulent digital world. Digitization can be successfully carried out only with the appropriately qualified staff. Professional practice is another important segment in educating students for their professional work. When and in what form should students have a professional practice? Forms of professional practice are an obligatory segment of education in the study of architecture, and they are regulated by directives of the European Parliament and the Council of Europe.
