Sažetak
The Euganean Geothermal Field (EGF) located in the Veneto alluvial plain is the most important thermal field in the northern Italy. This work describes the available conceptual model of the regional Euganean Geothermal System and highlights the importance of an extensional geological structure linked to the Schio–Vicenza fault system for the outflow of the thermal fluids. The physical validity of this conceptual model will be validated using 2D and 3D fluid flow and heat transport numerical simulations.
