Sažetak
The application of adhesives in joining of materials is limited not only by not knowing the time weakening of adhesive forces but also by the impossibility to accurately calculate the strenghth of adhesive joints.This paper briefly mentiones difficulties encountered when calculating the strength of adhesive joints, describes the work in developing a mathematical model for calculating the strength of lap adhesive steel joints, briefly commenting on the reasons for choosing the mentioned approach and the conclusions refer to the applicability of the dedeveloped model and the possibilities for its generalization.
