Sažetak
The digital revolution changes products, services, traditional business models, social interactions and communications. Transforming challenges into new opportunities is the key element of economic growth and progress. Doing business reforms and state interventions result with the global competitiveness and economic sustainability not only for a member states but also for entire European Union as a single market. The changing and dynamic economies raise competition pressure and the need for new business regulation innovations. The European Commission proposed new business regulation rules that should enable businesses to move or reorganise without unnecessary legal complexities and at a lower cost throughout the Single Market. Also, new business rules should stimulate the growth potential of European companies by digitalising the process of setting-up and running a business. The aim of this paper is to analyse the economic and legal impact of digitalisation on business regulation reforms and global competitiveness.
