Sažetak
The aim of the study was to establish the differences in attitude toward footbal in elementary school pupils regarding to the age, gender and location of the school. The research was conducted on the three samples including all pupils of 5th to 8th grades present at school during one week in three elementary schools, with total of 1071 student. Schools were from Zagreb area, one from the center of the city, one from suburb and one from the nearby village.Students were given 7-point attitude scale ranging from "I hate football" to "I adore football". Three factor univariant analysis of variance showed that all three main factors (gender, age and location) were statistically significant. Boys prefered football more than girls, attitude of children from village was much more positive than of the children from the city and was more positive with the age of the children. The inteaction of three factors, as well as interaction school-class were statistically significant at the level of p=0.01.
