Sažetak
This talk will present the role of the National and University Library in Zagreb in promoting open access to scientific information and transparent evaluation of Croatian scientists, scientific institutions and journals. The Library conducts bibliometric analysis at the national level for the needs of the Croatian academic community, journal editorial and institution accreditation and reaccreditation processes. It is responsible for the procurement of electronic sources and their access and user education. The Library also maintains national repositories, provides open access to digital and digitized content within the digital library and the Croatian web archive, provides interlibrary loan services, national DOI and ISSN office for journal editors, also other information and referral services.
