Sažetak
In the work of the German artist Hans Jürgen Syberberg (b. 1935) it is possible to notice a certain convergence between the use of puppets and the references to Richard Wagner and his work. Taking as a starting point the analysis of the puppet scenes from Syberberg's perhaps most famous work, the feature film Richard Wagner's Parsifal from 1982, the meaning of this convergence and its development in Syberberg's previous and subsequent films (The Counts Pocci: Some Chapters from the History of the Family, 1967 ; Hitler, A Film from Germany, 1977 ; The Night, 1985) and actual projects (The Nossendorf Diary, since 2000 ; The Nossendorf Project, since 2002) is explored in this essay.
