Sažetak
This paper invites a debate about Europe through the notion of periphery. If centrality has dominated mainstream discussions about Europe, I want to argue that centrality is the last place where we might seek useful understandings of the dynamics underpinning current European developments such as Brexit, EU enlargement in the Balkans, and crisis confronting its key pillars, multiculturalism and the welfare state.
