Sažetak
This paper presents the results of a one-year study of appendicularian population density distribution at two stations (22.mdepth) in the coastal waters of Dubrovnik. Appendicularians were sampled with a 250 l volume plankton sampler "Adiatic" at 5-m intervals from the surface to the bottom using a gauze of 125 micrometers mesh netting. In the shallow parts of southern Adriatic daytime appendicularian density values were bot uniformly distributed in the water column
