Sažetak
The Republic of Croatia has initiated the establishment of cross-institutional cooperation through the formation of two strategic working bodies (Council and Coordination) which have been tasked with liaising public and state authorities in effective protection from various types of cyber threats. Collaboration has been particularly active in the areas of defense, internal affairs and national security, but also among of all other bodies related to global or regional cyber security threats. The aim is to position the Republic of Croatia, independently and as an EU member, in terms of security. In the upcoming years, the public authorities will face many obligations and challenging tasks with a greater need for mutual cooperation and co-ordination. This paper provides a methodology for setting up key bodies, addresses current issues and analyses one area in the National Security Strategy (section 4 - Critical Communication and information infrastructure and cyber crisis Management).
