Sažetak
The use of migrating corrosion inhibitors (MCI) is one of the possible methods to prevent corrosion of embedded steel in concrete. There are different types of migrating corrosion inhibitors and they are classified according to their application. Different laboratories have investigated the effectiveness of migrating corrosion inhibitors. These include testing of MCI, both in solution and in concrete specimens. These tests are presented in the paper and they have shown that the use of MCI is one of the most promising methods for protection of steel rebar in concrete.
