Sažetak
This article investigates the issue of adequate application of the predicate calculus, as artificial intelligence tool, in some specific financial problem domains. Developed intelligent solution is a simple model of financial indicator, which is based on predicate calculus and represents a specific detector of financial rationality of some investments. That is in fact adequate and logic-based model for representation of necessary financial knowledge about some interesting investments relations and evidential data, and good model for automated reasoning about these and some others financial problem domains, also. These kinds of intelligent financial indicators are developed as significant parts of the expert systems for the various governmental projects of the Republic of Croatia. Application of this solution increases the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of the operational and strategic financial market investigative operations that are necessary during the whole financial knowledge discovery process.
