Sažetak
Paper discusses narrative sources related to the area of the Sava and Drava interamnium in the Middle Ages (or, at least, touching upon that area), and which can be used for the research of urban cores of the area. It also draws attention to the narrative parts of other types of sources (such as royal charters or judicial records). It tries to answer following questions: Do the particular types of narrative sources speak about urban settlements of this area or not? What is the image of the town in them, with regard to their character, period in which they were written, their purpose and authors?
