Sažetak
Each year, hundreds of boats and cruisers sail along the eastern coast of the Adriatic: from large and small cruise lines and passenger ships to all kind of quick and slow nautical vessels. The paper will compare the advantages and disadvantages of the domestic navigation area for larger and smaller sailing boats, and discuss changes that are foreseen in the next decade. The result may be improvements but also a deterioration of what passengers and sailors expect from sailing on the Croatian coast of the Adriatic. The comments will use data from a variety of sources, ranging from long-term surveys like TOMAS to scientific and popular articles, including thematic research like TOTUS.
