Sažetak
This paper presents a possible solution for an integrated passenger transport organisation on the Zagreb–Velika Gorica route with the emphasis on connecting Velika Gorica railway station to the Town of Velika Gorica. In this paper, the organisation of integrated transport of passengers has been analysed from a theoretical point of view, and detailed transport demand was analysed on the Zagreb– Velika Gorica route. The transport demand analysis included demographics, routes, timetables, rolling stock, and prices. As part of the proposed solution, a new bus line was introduced, the timetable of the railway and bus adjusted, the speed of the train was increased, and an integrated timetable was introduced. With the aim of increasing residents’ ecological awareness of citizens, a case study also introduces bicycle hiring at several places in the town.
