Sažetak
The aim of this paper is to optimize the organization of the railway lines between Sisak – Sunja – Novska and Sunja – Volinja. The Optimization of traffic organization is done using the RailSys software tool for traffic management. The idea is to create three infrastructure models which will be the base for three timetables that will be compared in the end. Variant 1 is the recreation of the current infrastructure model with the current timetable, Variant 2 is the creation of a clock-phase timetable with the existing infrastructure and Variant 3 will have upgraded infrastructure with a new signaling system and improved speeds. These variants will be compared, and the results will show how organizational and infrastructural changes affect the capacity of the railway track.
