The Inter-Agency Programme on the Assessment and Management of Health and Environmental Risks from Energy and Other Complex Industrial systems aims at promoting and facilitating the implementation of integrated risk assessment and management for large industrial areas. The initiative includes the compilation of procedures and methods for environmental and public health risk assessment, the transfer of knowledge and experience among countries in the application of these procedures and the implementation of an integrated approach to risk management.
