Sažetak
Among the numerous travelogues that focus on the eastern Adriatic coast, and the Dubrovnik area written at the turn of the nineteenth century, three books describing the region around Dubrovnik stand out. These were written by Archduke Ludwig Salvator von Habsburg - a member of the royal family at the time. Thanks to the family background, the author 's way of life was quite unusual, and resulted in material that today gives us direct insight into the period through eyes of an autonomous, remarkably free, and unconventional adventurer.
