Sažetak
Due to the lack of resources, such as laboratory space and equipment, timetable slots or lecturer’s time, there is a need for new educational technologies in order to provide students with an optimal learning experience. In practice, hardware access is limited and educational institutions frequently have insufficient resources for buying new equipment or paying additional lectures. This paper presents a LabVIEW based remote laboratory prototype system for distance learning which allows students to work on a real remote hardware from their personal computer. The developed distance learning laboratory has had a significantly positive impact on the quality of education at the Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences.
