Sažetak
The UNESCO 2003 Convention on the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage enumerates various measures which might be taken in order to ensure the viability of ICH in different states parties to the Convention. Those measures include ensuring conditions mainly for transmission of know-how, but also for promotion, documenting, research, and so on. Many of those measures and activities cannot be implemented without financial support and inclusion of ICH into planning on state and local levels. On the example of the state-supported funding for ICH in Croatia, it is going to be discussed how financial support can help in the development of various projects of ICH safeguarding as well as what issues still need to be resolved.
