Sažetak
By FPIA and GC-MS method 12 urine samples- of persons who died in Split and Dalmatia during 1999 under suspition of drug intoxication as well as 2 urine samples of examenees suspect to drugs of abuse were analysed. The presence of following addictive substances was examined in urine: heroine group, methadone, amphetamine, tetrahydrocanabinol and cocaine. The aim of this paper isto examine the possibility of usage of FPIA as screening test method in comparison with GC-MS method in determination of addictive substances in urine. The results have shown that FPIA is sufficiently reliable method especially in heroin group and cocain. Small number of samples comprised by this paper leaves this question open for further investigations.
