Sažetak
Digital color imaging is one of today`s most exciting and fastest growing fields. The development of devices has affected every aspect of digital imaging and generated the need to fundamentally change the way images are color encoded. It is often difficult to successfully exchange digital color images among different types of system. Relatively simple color encoding methods are successful in closed systems because of the invariant nature of input and output devices. But desire now is to move from closed systems to systems that are opened, in such way that color is expressed in a way that does not depend on the particular characteristics of any given imaging device or medium. Color management allows the open interchange of digital images among systems. The aim of this article is to show differences in color reproduction in closed and through color management calibrated device system.
