Sažetak
This paper presents the results of the research conducted among the student population of the first and the third year of the study program in Nursing at the Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences. The main objective of the research was to determine if the level of communication skills and knowledge of English for specific purposes affected the students’ decision on participation in international student mobility programS and, if affirmative, to which extent. For this purpose, a questionnaire was made that includes two parts. The first part contains general information about the subjects, while the second part involves ten statements oriented towards determining students’ attitudes about the research topic. The results were analyzed by applying the methods of descriptive statistics. The results for each of the statements were subjected to t-test for the purpose of determining the differences in attitudes between the students of the first and the third year of the study program in Nursing.
