Sažetak
The purpose of this paper is to give insights into modern communication technologies applied in traffic which have already shaped the world of transportation and, consequently, the world itself. The use of internet applications and other digital tools has resulted with the need to develop digital communication tools where English has been favoured as the medium and tool for international communication within globalization processes. The authors wanted to emphasize how the afore mentioned transformation changes operation of organizations, institutions and values of their products or services. Namely, the Šibenik-Knin County heavily relies on tourism which is a fundamental carrier of development in the country. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to offer the current state of digital communication and prevalence of English applied in traffic in the region since efficient traffic guarantees success in all fields, and, therefore tourism.
