Sažetak
The paper discusses Richard Arneson's critique of Mill's political philosophy. Namely, Arneson claims that Mill advances an inconsisten stance towards paternalism in On Liberty and Considerations on Representative Government. Using Estlund's idea of normative consent, the paper argues that there is no inconsistency since plural-voting proposal can be justified on the basis of harm principle, i.e. on the basis of harm that the uneducated can inflict upon others (and not only themselves).
