Sažetak
This paper discusses an argument from Baccarini's book "Public Reason and Biotechnologies", where the author builds an account of fair distribution of access to technologies of genetic enhancement based on the lax difference principle (Farelli, Rawls). The paper claims that this is not a proper principle to address this issue, and argues in favor of fair equality of opportunity, a principle that (according to Rawls himself) has a lexical priority.
