Sažetak
A functional and reliable cost system plays a vital role in the proper management of a construction project. To estimate construction costs accurately is a key element in the success of any contractor. In the construction works, which equipment force is governing, like road, highway and dam constructions, the importance of equipment cost tracking is obvious. Investment, maintenance and operation cost of the equipment to execute the work constitutes big portion of the construction cost. Therefore special attention is needed to the equipment cost tracking system for the success of the project. The other two important objectives of the project cost system are ; &#61623 ; To develop a reliable equipment production information in a form suitable for estimating the cost of future work. &#61623 ; To keep the construction costs of the project within the established control budget. &#61623 ; To provide reliable information to Management to make right decisions.
