Sažetak
Employee job satisfaction is one of the traditional antecedents of employee turnover in research on turnover intention and actual turnover. When an employee decides to leave the organisation intentionally, his or her intention is preceded by various personal, organisational and environmental factors, with the focus of this paper on organisational factors, that is, job satisfaction as one of the key factors. By creating a model of turnover intention whose predictors assume different dimensions of job satisfaction, it is possible to identify the dominant aspects of job satisfaction that, when considering leaving the organisation, may outweigh the benefit of the organisation. This review paper proposes a model that can be used for structural equation modeling methodology with the aim of proving that employee turnover can be predicted over time by employee satisfaction level. The implications about the influence of different dimensions of job satisfaction on the intention of turnover are applicable in organisations of different economic activities and with different ownership structures.
