Sažetak
Some examples of military, profane and church architecture of the first half of the 18th- century in Eastern Croatia show a connection with contemporary Austrian and Hungarian architecture. Comparative examples and archive sources evidencing an engagement of eminent foreign architects, master builders, and engineers. Historical origins of Baroque style in Eastern Croatia are in Vienna and its surroundings, as well as across the former Hungarian Empire. These buildings are part of the main trends of Austrian and Hungarian Mature Baroque.
