Sažetak
In the last thirty years surface enineering became separate scientific field. The bond between substrate and coating depends on adhesion. Adhesion is a basic property in galvanisation. To get a good adhesion between substrate and coating the clean surface of substrate is essential, as well as the structure of grain and crystal lattice of substrate and coating must be similar. The same applies to coefficient of thermal expansion.Due to a close attachment of substrate and coating, the diffusion of atoms from coating to substrate is perceived. Thus, an influence on structure of grain and crystal lattice is made possible. In this work a diffusion of atoms after electroless nikel plating on the stainless steel substrate was monitored. Also, appropriation and balance of coating diffusion, and appropriation of atoms between stainless steel substrate and electroless nickel coating were analysed.
