Sažetak
In June 2016 Department of Dental Anthropology, School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb marked its 50th anniversary with the Dental Anthropology Scientific Symposium (DASS Zagreb 2016). Chair of Forensic Dentistry forms part of the Department since 1997, developing forensic odontology in university education, research and as a profession in Croatia. The DASS Zagreb 2016 had two main scientific topics: dental anthropology and forensic odontology. The meeting was structured into four scientific sessions with 25 oral and 17 poster presentations, and a workshop on the Arizona State University Dental Anthropology System. There were 65 participants and more than a half were international participants from 15 European countries (including Russia and Turkey), Canada, India, Sudan and USA.
