Sažetak
Robots are increasingly used in schools as an educational tool. They are attractive to the children born with digital technologies. However, if we do not coach the children, robots will be nothing but a toy. For that reason, University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing has started the popularization of science program “ŠUZA – from school to science and the academic community”. Within the program we organize workshops for children and teachers, visits to schools and events at the Faculty. Further, Croatian robotic association gathers technical clubs all over Croatia and organizes educations and competitions for all age groups with the aim of promoting robotics and technical thinking. In this presentation, activities of ŠUZA and Croatian robotic association will be demonstrated (using robots).
