Sažetak
At the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, on the second year (3. semester) of the study female students attend classes of sports gymnastics. Their program includes mostly gymnastics skills that are a part of the current physical education curricula in the elementary and secondary school. Primary aim of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of gymnastic skills, from the female students curricula, on vault, uneven bars, beam, floor and rings. Secondary aim of the study was to determine differences between average levels of knowledge achieved on different gymnastics apparatus. Results revealed: a) female students generally learn gymnastics skills on the level that is equivalent to school mark very good (4) ; b) there is no statistically significant difference between average levels of the skills on different gymnastics apparatus. Results confirmed adequacy of the sports gymnastics curriculum for the female students who attend it.
