Sažetak
Conclusion Upper part of respiratory system was changed in all pts with GER. Prominent vascular pattern was seen in the entire respiratory system. Bronchial pH value was extremely low in the patient group with sterile bronchial aspirate. Could infection, by increasing pH value, have protective effect? Since blood LDH was significantly higher in bacteria isolated patient group, it could serve as an estimate of pulmonary infection. In pts with known GER and persistent dry cough, bronchoscopy should be done since tumor could be found despite normal chest x-ray.
