Sažetak
One of the possible solutions for reduction of consequences of tanker ship accidents in Adriatic Sea or any other sensitive marine environment, is to investigate possible improvements in tanker structural design. The paper proposes methodology applied in the case study of structural design of Aframax tanker, where one of the highlights is use of multiobjective optimization in CDP with minimization of weight, maximization of collision crashworthiness and maximization of safety index of hull girder ultimate strength, using IACS CSR Stage I for calculation of ship adequacy.
