Sažetak
The electromagnetic transition data is investigated through the 40 Ar+ 208 Pb multi-nucleon transfer (MNT) reaction measured with the large acceptance magnetic spectrometer PRISMA coupled to γ-array CLARA. Electromagnetic transitions associated to the 38-43 Ar isotopes are, using the evaluated nuclear structure database and the large-scale shell- model calculus, assigned to the excited states and embedded in the schematic representation of excitation process. The MNT reactions strongly excite single-particle states, as well as states which can be described in particle-phonon coupling picture. Several excited states in even-odd isotopes are described through coupling of the 2 + core state in even isotopes with the f 7/2 unpaired neutron, in the stretched configuration 11/2 - . New transitions have been assigned recently [4] and are mostly of the E2 character. In this investigation we obtain a deeper insight in transition multipolarities by analyzing angular distributions with respect to the azimuthal CLARA angles. The E2 character of these new transitions is demonstrated through the comparison with the known transition. In particular, the angular distribution of the 11/2 - →7/2 - transition in 41 Ar is of the E2 character, in agreement with proposed fermion-boson structure of 11/2 - state.
