Sažetak
Like most transitional economies, the Croatian economy can find its comparative advantage in a cheap yet highly trained labor. Instead of using this comparative advantage, Croatia allows &#8216 ; brain drain&#8217 ; , i.e. its scientists and professionals often leave the country. Medicine is an area where this phenomenon is particularly noticeable. Croatian health care is in deep financial trouble. Medical services of Croatian health care system are high quality and competitive, much cheaper than elsewhere, and as such should be offered to potential users abroad. As a universal communication space, the Internet can be of immediate help in the appearance of Croatian medical services on the world market. The paper discusses the form and content of information to be presented on the Internet in order to put Croatian health services, as well as those of other transitional countries, on the world market.
