Sažetak
Laboratory for thermophysiological properties and development of intelligent clothing is established at the Faculty of Textile Technology University of Zagreb. A laboratory will be installed the following measuring systems: measurement system for the determination of thermal properties of clothing composites so-called hot plate, measuring system for determining static and dynamic thermal properties of clothing so-called thermal manikin, measuring instrument for measuring physiological parameters of the human body when exactly evaluating thermal clothing comfort, multifunctional differential conductometer for clothing composites and clothing, the existing climatic chamber, original software solutions and measuring instrument Permetest for the non-destructive measurement of resistance to heat transfer and water vapour permeability. The mentioned measuring systems and devices, except Permetest, are patented and realized by professors from the Faculty of Textile Technology. All mentioned devices could operate as a meaningful associated measuring unit that constitutes a complex and comprehensive system for determining thermal properties of clothing and composite materials, but it is possible to use any of these devices separately, as a completely separate and autonomous measurement system. The integration of all of measuring devices in a complex and a comprehensive measurement system presents an original solution. There is no knowledge that a similar measuring system exists in the field of textile and clothing technologies. Establishment of a laboratory was funded by the Croatian Science Foundation through the project IP-2018-01-6363 Development and thermal properties of intelligent clothing (ThermIC).
