Sažetak
After several decades of medical use, computer tomography has been extensively applied in the industry over the past decade. Unlike medical applications where energy and dose of x-rays are limited and the basic objective is to simply detect internal structures, when applied to industrial problems, emphasis is placed on the dimensional accuracy of the data obtained. Although numerous problems affecting accuracy have been researched during the development of industrial computer tomography, the traceability of the measurement results of this method cannot yet be defined. Additional problems arise when the object of measurement is made of different materials. This paper describes the methodology of measurement of computer tomography, the primary impacts on the accuracy of the results including the influence of different materials, as well as the possibilities for correcting these impacts.
