Sažetak
Real-time systems play important role in different industry areas. This paper deals with real-time systems based on event-driven architectural model. Contrary to the widely accepted request-response communication principle, in this model system components communicates in the asynchronous way what eliminates the waiting for the response of another subsystem and improves system performance. Problem occurring in event-driven systems is inability to predict the following event what makes system harder to troubleshoot. Therefore it is necessary to record event history during system operation. This paper proposes event sequence array (ESA) API as solution for tracking event history. Implementation of ESA API is described and we show that it represents simple and efficient tool enabling the analysis of system behavior in the case of error.
