Sažetak
We present experimental results of the swift heavy ion irradiated graphene based on Raman spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy, demonstrating the damage in graphene depends strongly on the charge state of the swift heavy ion, which is correlated with electronic stopping. Results of molecular dynamics simulations provide insight on the role of the substrate on damage production in graphene.
