Sažetak
The 100 % polyester (polyethylene terephthalate) fabric, enzymes and disperse dye were used in this study. Interactions of enzymes (lipases) and the polyester fabric were performed in buffered aqueous solutions. The dyeing has been spectrophotometrically analysed in order to determine spectral K/S values, which have defined the color intensity of the textile material. Colored enzyme-treated samples (lower L value) gave darker colours, compared with the control sample (higher L value). The differences in the coordinates red/green and yellow/blue also varied. The two- dimensional Da and Db colour space has four quadrants, corresponding with red (+a) to green (-a) and yellow (+b) to blue (-b). Scanning electron microscopy has been used to study the structure and morphology of polyester fibre surface in treated regime. Also, modelling of polyester fabric dyeing, after the action of the enzyme, has been carried out. It has been established that enzymes have helped dyeing and Langmuir isotherm have confirmed that this model ensures precise description of polyester dyeing by disperse dye.
