Sažetak
Intensive changes in the enterprises&#8217 ; ; structure, especially of small enterprises, have great importance for the process of economic transition and the economic development in Croatia. The perspective of further Croatian economy development lays in further restructuring, especially of large enterprises, and the creation of more favorable conditions for business of small and medium enterprises. Therefore, measures of the current economic policy at all levels, especially in the sector of credit-monetary and fiscal policy, should be more in the function of small entrepreneurs development, because they have proven to be more effective than large enterprises and they can contribute to faster development of the country.
