Sažetak
Developmental coordination disorder is a disorder in which motor functions affect the daily functioning of the individual in the domain of daily activities and academic achievements, and the above is not caused by medical conditions or intellectual disabilities. In case of lack of appropriate intervention, there is often secondary difficulties manifested through different skills. The aim of the research is to design and develop an educational and rehabilitation program on the basis of individual needs, and then to determine the infulence of the program in areas of visual-motor integration, visual perception and motor integration in a 5-year old girl with developmental coordination disorder. The emphasis is placed on visual- motor integration beacuse in this area child has the greatest need for intervention. The program was implemented in a child's family once per week. For the purpose of assessment and evaluation was used Beery-Buktenica test of visual-motor integration. For each variable, the results are described descriptively and are displayed graphically. The results show progress in all three evaluated variables: visual-motor integration, visual perception and motor coordination, confirming all established hypotheses. They also point to the importance and benefit of intervention for the child in the preshool period.
